If it is not an error... why did they fix it? They removed this bug from my car with a sw update in august 2021, together with the bug of ICE turning on at 75 kmh.

And no other e-tech PHEV car, apparently, has this error, only the Captur.

They also removed the feature of gearswitch allowed below 8kmh without braking.

It's a little more complicated, this is the full procedure to trigger the bug:

    - Park the card downhill

    - Proceed backward for a couple of meters

    - Stop the car by pressing brake pedal

    - Switch to N gear

    - Release brakes and coast downhill

    - When the car is fast enoug (8-10 km/h), switching to B is allowed: do it

    - Car slows down slightly due to regenerative braking, but at the same time the powerbraking is turned off: brakes work, but only mechanically.

There is a vacuum pump both in ICE vehicles and EV, the only difference is what runs it (ICE itself, or a dedicated electric motor).

Also my dealer was confused about regenerative braking and powerbraking, he thought they were same thing.

Does your capture have the bug of self-disengaging power braking downhill in B gear?

Coasting downhill when idling is dangerous only if you do that so long that brakes get hot, as they are designed to work at full power only a few seconds every several minutes.

Automatically deactivating power braking without user intervention and without any warning to the user when the motor is on and the vacuum pump has all the power it needs, is very dangerous an completely unnecessary. (PHEV/EV cars do not need a running ICE for vacuum pumps to work, they are electric).

Probably you are confusing "coasting while idling" with "coasting while ICE is off".
