How did you succeed in disabling the emergency brake? I have the opposite problem: I want to permanently disable it because I think it is unreliable and then dangerous (it keeps raising false positives) , but it always turns on automatically when I turn on the car!

Since I purchased my Captur on november 2020, I always heard this creepy noise coming from the engine at each gear shift, and I started to presume that my gearbox will not last the 3 years of the contract...

Now you confirmed my assumption: the e-tech clucth-less motor does NOT work, this car is not able to properly shift gears, and this results in gears damage at each shift.

It looks like they didn't take into account that a gear shift can be needed also when slowing down, not just when accelerating: if you pay attention to it, you can notice that shift errors occur upon shiftig down.

Indeed, on up-shift the HSG (auxiliary electric motor) overrides the main motor to suppress any torque and allow shifting; but what is it supposed to do upon down-shift?
