Since 3 months I am no more able to start hvac, both from app or by schedule.

Dealer did not find any solution yet: they reprogrammed and reset "something" , multiple times, no success.

    Suggestions?

Yesterday I consumed 1 kWh to travel just 1km, stuck in traffic for 15 minutes.

The heating draws up to 4kW, and we have just 7.5kWh available in battery.

    4kW means 4kWh/h, or 1kWh/15min.

With heating off, 1kWh is enough to travel 6 km.

Hence, heating consumes 6km every 15 minutes, 24 km every hour.

This is one of the reasons for which I bought a plugin rather than a pure EV.

Neu bei mir ist jetzt das gelegentlich aufflackern einer roten Warnmeldungen, wobei man nur ein Aufblitzen sieht ohne das man die Meldung lesen könnte

    It says "BRAKE NOW!!".

But there is nothing in front of the car...

I found an app for Renault Zoe which every day moves a dummy A/C schedule to next day, right before it starts, to keep the remote programming possibile but at the same time to prevent starting any unneeded preconditioning.

Ufortunately I didn't save the link because I don't need this app, but I think it was a PHP app on http://www.github.com (specific for Zoe).

All I remember is that it is NOT this app: https://github.com/db-EV/ZoePHP (anyway this app partially works with Captur).

I just brought my Captur to dealer; they told me they still don't know if shafts replacement is the solution to this factory defect, but currently that's all they can do.

    So sad.

    Hi there,

Renault is currently hindering itself for me, because why shouldn't you be able to charge DC with a 40 kW / h battery? Why shouldn't the 96 kW motor be available with a 60 kWh battery? The weak engine is enough and would have more range.

    Warm greetings

    Udo

Renault does not know how plugin vehicles are supposed to work: gasoline engine should never connect to the wheels unless a very high amount of power is needed, it should just act like a generator (but just a 25 kW generator, that's what the HSG connected to ICE can produce) and keep the battery charged while the main 60 kW electric motor drains energy from battery: it is called "range extension", and it was first adopted by Opel Ampera 10 years ago. So I (erroneously) thought it was a well known technology which any plugin producer now adopts (I was so wrong...)

At constant speed of 130 km/h my Captur draws 20-30 kW from battery; if ICE would continuously push 25 kW into the battery, I could have a 600 km "electric" range using less gasoline than directly conneting ICE to wheels.

yes, captur remains switched on if you leave it switched on and go away.

I use this "feature" to keep the AC on for some minutes while I am at home (preconditioning is broken), 50 meters away, but in this case car turns off after some minutes.

"MySense" / "E-Save": Reacts better to the accelerator - with moderate acceleration, upshifts are made earlier. Not the hit, but the "speed orgy" of the small combustion gear can be kept under control.

I still have to keep an eye on the effects on consumption ...

I am noticing a lower recharge capability in mysense+e-save after the SW upgrade: I can't get the battery charged from 30% to 80% anymore while returning back to home on highway after going around in Pure EV. I think this means more gasoline consumed.
